| Bars
A barline stretches or squeezes what it holds to fill one measure of the current meter.
- Bars scope per line.

:right after|ends the bars, and what follows plays at its written length. - Music outside bars plays at its written length.
- In a rule body, an indented line with no bars sits outside the measures.
- A slice of a barred rule drops the bars.
