`mode diatonic | chromatic | midi` Mode

What a bare number means. diatonic, the default, reads it as a scale degree. chromatic counts semitones from the key root. midi reads a MIDI note number.

In chromatic, 1 is the root and each number up is one semitone, so a major triad is 1 5 8.
m60 is a MIDI note in any mode.
